As we wandered through doorways, at least one tunnel of sorts and holes in the wall we encountered were really old and piled up basement rooms as well as rather neat and somewhat modern looking basement as the next few pictures show.
Also in our journey through this maze of basements we found two sets of stairs.

Being the conscientious researchers we are, some might say just plain nosey, we ventured up these sets of stairs and found outselves in the showroom space of the Lowe Building next door to the Thompson Building as the next six pictures show:
